So I've had a pretty eventful week. Let's see...last weekend was the AAR concert. I had to work so I got there late, but I still got to see 3 of the 4 bands. Alyssa got kicked out at the end of the show because of her camera which was whack, but whatevs. Friday night was the Halloween Dance...it was ok. Ummm...Yesterday we dressed up for Halloween which was fun. I wanted to go out after work but I can't drive and nobody wants to come to my side of the island. WTF@ my parents. Note to self: plan out kids' birthdays.

A lot of shit has been going on at school and its just bothering me. Between my own stupidity, Ally's harassment thing, and the rampant cheating, I just don't know what to feel. I honestly do love that school but sometimes I just wish it were all over. As soon as I start thinking about college though I get all sentimental and crap. It's such a weird point in my life. Yesterday we had a free write in Mazz's class where we went outside and just wrote what we were feeling. I wrote about the uncertainty of the future and doubting anything and everything. WTF. I'm such a loser.

I think I'm going to go to CVS some time this week and print up every picture on my digital memory. I might be there for a while.

Last night was the TBS, Angels & Airwaves, Head Automatica, and The Subways show at Six Flags. The day was really hot and the park was overly crowded. We only got to go on 2 rides the whole day. I guess I had fun though. Then there was the concert. There were so many people there...it was unbelieveable. The bands were all awesome, but the crowd was ridiculous. I got through 2 1/2 sets before I had to leave the floor. Some asshole started a pit right behind me during AVA and I couldn't take it anymore. It was so hot and people were all over each other. So after I left the pit, I walked over to the side of the stage. There were a lot of empty seats there, so I decided it would be a good place to park myself. I didn't realize though, that you could see right onto the stage. It was basically a back view or the band. It was from behind, but I was realllllly close. At one point during the AVA set, Adam from TBS came out and sat down on the side of the stage where I was. He was weird. Then, I was leaning over this railing thing trying to take pictures and one of the roadies saw me. I thought he was going to yell at me, but then he asked me if I wanted him to take pictures for me. I was like UM YES PLEASE! So I handed him my camera and he took pictures! Ah! So amazing. Then all of the people around me were trying to get him to take pictures with their cameras but he just ignored them. It was really funny actually. So after that it kind of mellowed out until TBS came on. The crowd went absolutely crazy! It was just as bad as Warped, if not worse. TBS was really good live. Their set was like an hour long, but we had to leave early because Caitlin got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer and blacked out. We went to first aid and they took care of her. Yeah yeah now what you all want...( pictures! )

Now I have to pack because I'm leaving for Sint Maarten tomorrow. Yay.

I want to go to Berlin on June 1st to see Taking Back Sunday and Hellogoobye. Who's with me!?

I decided earlier today that I wanted to recap my year. However, as I started thinking about exactly what had happened this year, I realized that there was simply too much. I hadn't realized exactly how much happened this year until now. I'll try my best though.

This week has been crazy stressful. Monday was my calc paper presentation. I think I did ok on that. Besides the paper, I'm failing calc misreably. (sp?) I honestly don't know if I can afford to stay in that class. But I feel if I drop it, I'll be a failure. I've been on track to take that class since the sixth grade. Now, for whatever reason, I can't seem to handle it. It really sucks. I an important decision to make.
Then Thursday was my public speaking speech. I was crazy nervous before but it actually wasn't that bad. I think I did ok on that. I hope I did lol. Everyone has been telling me that I have. So I'm glad that's outta the way.
I also god my PSAT scores back. Blech. I didn't do that well. I'm only saying this because I have very high standards for myself. I'm not saying my score is a bad score, because it's not. I just need to do better on the SAT.
Last night was the Monty Love Xmas show at Dock St. I had a really good time. I ate Subway with Lyss and Julia before the show and then we met Alexis in the Chinese place. We went in and everything was ok. Not too crowded. We got a good spot in the front corner. First, Kevin Devine (<33) played a song. Then Victims of a Driveby came on. They weren't as good as I remember them being. They were ok though. Then Shatter Me Silent came on. They were really good. I'd never heard them live before, but I really liked them. Kind of a combination of New Found Glory, Senses Fail, and Hawthorne Heights. Then, my love, Kevin Devine came on. Ahh...he's so good. Then I went to get a soda and I had to walk all the way across the floor. I wanted to get back before Quantice Never Crashed came on because I knew it would get crazy. Of course I didnt't, but I did manage to get back eventually. I'm nota big fan of Quantice. They were ok though. Then Folly. Oh how I love Folly. All of the Bayonne kids were flipping out because they're from Jersey. Haha it was cool. Then Monty Love came on. I totally forgot about the song where they say "We put the f-u-n back in dysfunctional!" That's one of my favorite songs lmao. Yeah it was a good show. I was taking pictures, but I forgot to charge my camera so it died halfway through. I did manage to get some pictures though: ( Read more... )
I woke up at 12:00 today. Haha I feel like I wasted the whole day. But its all good.
I have no plans this week if any of you are free. I'm so happy about winter break...I don't want to waste it. Mhmm. Call me.
